Our wordmark just says Aureli. 6 letters built on a typeface called Lars/Volta. Once our typeface was found the logo creativity began.


What makes Aureli's logo unique is the distortion of the lettering. It came from a simple inspiration. A wave.
Early iterations of the logo had the first three letters in the trough of the wave and the last 3 in the crest. An early motion graphic idea was simply the wave passing through the words. This actually sparked the idea for the logo as we see it today

The breakthrough thought was simply:
What would it look like if the animation was all overlayed into one frame?
